Abstract:
We present a 16-TW (7.9 fs, 130 mJ) noncollinear optical parametric chirped-pulse
amplification system. This unique source can serve as seed source for PW-class lasers and
by itself allows for new experiments in high-field physics.

This paper was awarded with the Emil Wolf Student Paper Award
